UPDATE ON CHAD:
Chad woke up from his comaas few days shy of 3 weeks after the accident. He was trying to talk but couldn't because he had a trech in. Over the next couple of weeks he progressively got better and better. His accident was at about 11:45pm on June 22, 2012 and he got to go home, walking and talking basically back to his normal self (he still has some healing in his right shoulder and arm to do, and has some muscle in his legs and arms he needs to rebuild) on July 27th, 2012. He will still have therapy a few times a week for a little while, but he is doing fantastic. Praise God, this would not have happened without Him! We would not have him back with his same personality or doing so well physically, or maybe at all if it were not for our amazing Lord!! Praise Him and thanks everyone for your prayers!

Week 12

Sorry it has been a couple of weeks since I blogged. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Friday night June 22 my brother-in-law, Chad, was in a very serious car accident. He was on his way home at about 10:45pm on a highway in Quitman and hit a 1200lbs mule going 70mph. The car behind him said he never hit his breaks, and the car coming at him in the other lane said they never saw the mule either. It took the Fire Dept., EMT's, etc. 20 minutes once they got there to cut him out of the car. Thank God there were other cars there to call and get them there so fast! They had to intubate him on the scene. They took him by ambulance to the local hospital and then care flighted him to Tyler. He is still in a coma. He responds to pain and he reaches for where the pain is. His is at a 7 on the coma scale from 1-15, 15 being the best (where a normal person is). He is not progressing as quickly as the doctors think he should, but he is progressing. His birthday is tomorrow. He will be 22.

Family Time

We went to Jan's house Saturday for memorial weekend. We had a great time visiting with everyone and Justin even got to shoot a couple guns! We had hamburgers for lunch and hotdogs for dinner. The food was great! I also had some really fantastic banana pudding, compliments of Aunt Kathy! We didn't get home until after 9pm and I didn't even realize it! We stopped on the way home to get Justin a new game, Ghost Recon. I was sure he would be up all night playing with his cousins. At about midnight I woke up not feeling so good. I went in the bathroom and sat in front of the toilet for a little while and even kinda began to throw up a couple of time without very much success, if that's what we want to call it. That is about the time Justin came in to see if I was okay to find me with my head in the toilet sobbing and really starting to throw up pretty good. He is such a trooper. His held my hair back (I had just woke up and couldn't move from the toilet long enough to get a hair tie) and got me a wet wash cloth and never got sick himself. (He does not handle things like that very well, normally.) He turned his game off, thankfully, I wouldn't have wanted his cousins and anyone else online on his team hearing that, and went to bed with me afterwords. He is such a great husband! Needless to say, I will probably NEVER be able to eat hotdogs again, but definitely not while I am pregnant. Although ai like them, apparently the baby did not! I did not throw up anything else, just the hotdogs.

Sorry about the grossness, it's all part of it though. :)

How big is baby: The size of a pea! I have a pea in my pod!!
Weight gain/loss: Back up to normal weight.
Maternity clothes: Not yet.
Stretch marks: No.
Sleep: Still not all the way through the night. Toss and turn a lot and have to use the potty at least once a night.
Best Moment of the Week: Looking at baby name books to find a name for an actual baby!! When I looked up names before it was just for fun...now it is for real!! (kinda scary)
Movement:  No.
Food Cravings: Ramon Noodles. But I have only had them once, after I ate a hot pocket and I only used a small portion of the seasoning. They have sounded good all week though! I am not really craving anything else, but some things taste better than they used to, like sour cream, cheese, etc.

What I am Looking Forward too: Meeting the doctor.
Daddy: Still nervous, he is hiding it better now though. =)
Our little persons heart is beginning to beat this week!!
We went to our first doctors appointment this week. We were not really impressed with the office, so we are going to try another one that may suit us a little better.

Still working what exactly to do with my head...
all the pictures looked awkward.

THE HIGHLIGHTS: (on 5/10)

How far along: 4 weeks
How big is baby: Poppy seed :)
Weight gain/loss: Same
Sleep: Okay. Weird dreams, like zombies...and wake up every morning at 6:30am and can't go back to sleep. --The first really crazy dream I had I must share. So Justin and I were at a river with some of his family (we were supposed to be floating down it) there was a shallow part that was flowing very fast and we had to walk through it, so we went one at a time. I was last to go. By the time I caught up to everyone they were sitting at some picnic tables talking and some woman had her arm around Justin! I was so mad. I went over and yelled, he is a married man what are you doing?! And Justin just laughed and said, she is kind of jealous, don't mind her....(What! Are you kidding me!?) So though out my whole dream this woman is clearly flirting with MY husband and he just thinks its funny! -- yeah I was mad for about half an hour after I woke up. I called Justin and told him (after I calmed down). He was just like, okay..? I hope I don't have to many more dreams like that. I already sometimes have emotional dreams. And after I wake up am emotional for up to a couple of hours. So far though most of my dreams have just been intense.
Best Moment of the Week: POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST :) I took 2 just to be sure. One on Wednesday and one on Friday.
Symptoms: A little nausea and fatigue.
Food Cravings: Not really.
Gender: Don't want to know until the baby gets here.
Labor Signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
What I am Looking Forward too:  The next 8 months!
Daddy: On top of things. Trying to keep me focused on tasks I'm doing for more than 5 minutes. Like finding a doctor!
My face was covered, but i think it was a better picture...minus the messy bed.
This was the day we found out =)
