Sleep
Stephen is sleeping in his own bed! We tried this once before when he was about 2 months old. Let's just say it did not work out. He was just still waking up too often. Now he usually only wakes up once a night at about 2-3am. Sometimes I get lucky and he doesn't wake up until 4am. Then, he usually eats every 2-4 hours. So we are trying him in his own bed again. So far, tonight being the 4th night, he is doing pretty good. Last night he went to bed a little early and he woke up more than usual. But hopefully tonight is better and he sleeps all the way through. Fingers crossed!! Here are some pictures of him sleeping in his own bed for the first time, this time!! Cousin Ethan!!
We got to visit with Justin's cousin Elisabeth. She just had baby Ethan 4 weeks ago! (The pictures are from him at 3 weeks) He was almost the same size as Stephen at birth. He was born just a smidge early. If he had gone all the way I'm sure he would have been the same!! His name is Ethan Matthew Spann. He is a cutie!! We really enjoyed our visit! Thanks for having us over Miss Elisabeth and baby Ethan!

His cord and bell fell of at about 10 days and we got to take our first bath! I was excited!! Stephen, not so much!!
His hair is a crazy hot mess! I love it! Curls look good on this boy!
Happy now with the blow dry going!
Probably thinking of ways he will some day get me back for torturing him!
3 months
Well, it's happening! My baby is getting big! He is 3 months and a week old! How did 3 months go by already?! Before I know it he will be graduating from college!
He is quite the morning person. Which is very unlike his mother! He wakes up talking and smiling; just happy as can be. I'm glad to know there will be a morning person in the family. He must get this from his daddy!
He tries to sit up when on his back. He tries reaching for things, and occasionally succeeds! He only wakes up about once a night at about 2:45am or so.
At daycare he does great! He loves the ladies that teach his class! He does not take naps well or eat from his bottle well at daycare. Maybe there is just too much noise and distraction. He is eating a little under 20oz while at daycare. And then nurses about 5-6 times throughout the evening-morning.
When sleeping, we still swaddle him. He doesn't really like it at first, but sleeps so much better if we do. This week I tried to let him sleep through the night without swaddling him...let's just say we won't be trying that again for a while! He woke up 4 times during the night. It just threw off our whole night and made the next day a little rough, too!

He LOVES tummy time! He arches his back and does this Superman move while on his tummy. It's pretty cute!! He has roled over from tummy to back twice on his own. Once at daycare and once at home the same day. But has not done it again since. He also love laying on his back and is beginning to scoot down when laying there. He loves his play mat his Aunt Lydia let us borrow. His favorite part of it are the leaves and mirror!
This boy can throw a fit!! He does not like going to sleep. Arching his back, screaming, grunting the whole 9 yards!! Hopefully we will be able to break this bad habit before he is too much older. This is not a habit I want him taking into his toddler years!
And falling asleep about 30 seconds later!!
He does seem to be teething. Drooling and chewing on his hands are things that go on constantly now. He only gets fussy sometimes so we must just be beginning the teething process.

Stephen is Here!!!
I'm not pregnant anymore! I had a really great pregnancy and thoroughly enjoyed it! Yea, I'm one of those freaks!
We are now the proud owners of a handsome baby boy! His name is Stephen Miles and we just adore him! I think he kinda likes us, too! ;) 
We went to the hospital Wednesday, January 15, to be induced on the 16th. My mom and I went and checked in while Justin had to finish working and go home to take one last shower before spending a day or two at the hospital. They started the cervidil Wednesday night. They induced with patoisin at about 6am Thursday. And we had our sone at 2:10pm! It was crazy fast!

Well, I haven't blogged it a while! It's hard making myself get on the computer to do it! Now that I have a smart phone, maybe I will be on top of things...maybe!
